One of the earlier influences, when Christophe started, was when he attended a conference with his mentor Tom Ferry where he got some excellent advice from Gary Vaynerchuk. His advice was “Christophe, you’re Mr. Beverly Hills, your lifestyle is the rich and famous. You need to be a DJ for content in your community.” He took this to heart and built a lot of his video and online content to reflect the audience he was targeting. He was very coachable and at the end of Gary’s talk, he went to his hotel, purchased all the luxury domains he could find in GoDaddy, and went to a nearby department store to purchase his first vlogging camera, a basic flip camera phone.
The Christophe Choo Brand
Today Christophe has over 30,000 subscribers and over 2,900 videos on his YouTube channel. He’s one of the first people you’ll find when you’re looking at the luxury market in Los Angeles both in Google Search and YouTube. He built his content for over 10 years and the result is consistent traffic and customers from his many online platforms. He does this by consistently creating content for his market. Christophe is passionate about his work and it shows in how he does business with his clients and the content he shares online.
One of the most motivating things I learned from our talk with Christophe was his work ethic. He got inspiration from his mother who worked in a salon for five to six days a week and over 12 hours a day standing up. He started work as a 12-year-old kid cleaning houses for clients at the salon. He brought that work ethic into his real estate career and you can see why he’s one of the most successful agents in the world. If you’re interested in getting in the luxury market you need to know that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be at the top.
